Our Fishermen’s Cabins

The majority of the fishermen’s cabins, also known as rorbuer, at Å Rorbuer, date back to the early 1900s when fishermen used them for shelter and accommodation. The newly renovated rorbu cabins offer all the comfort one needs while preserving their historical and rustic charm. These rorbuer feature a spacious and comfortable living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. There is also access to a balcony. Not all rorbuer have a sea view.

Additionally, we offer hotel rooms with shared bathrooms in the historic Salteriet, a former fish salting factory, and in Brygga, a former fish receiving factory.

These fishermen’s cabins are 50 sqm in size and feature a private kitchen, a seating area with a sofa, and a bathroom with a shower. Free Wi-Fi and parking are available.

Please note that not all cabins have a sea view.

Three-Bedroom Fishermen’s Cabins

These rorbu cabins have three bedrooms with single and/or double beds. All of them feature private bathrooms with showers and a living room with a kitchen. The living rooms are furnished with a sofa and dining table. Some cabins also come with a dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Each cabin has its own outdoor seating area, and the view varies from rorbu to rorbu.

These large rorbu cabins have three bedrooms with a mix of single, double, and bunk beds. All of them have private bathrooms with showers and a living room with a kitchen. The living rooms are furnished with a sofa and dining table. Some cabins also come with a dishwasher. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. You have your own outdoor seating area, and the view varies from rorbu to rorbu.

Brygga double room

These newly refurbished twin rooms are located on the pier together with Brygga Restaurant. The rooms share bathrooms.

The rooms are delicate and the new roof windows let in the magical Lofoten lights and scenery. All rooms have their own basin.

The rooms are furnished according to Classic Norway Hotels’ strict standard, containing down duvets and pillows, Molton Brown toiletries and a Nespresso machine.
