In the heart of the historic fishing village of Å, you will find Å Restaurant Lofoten at Å Rorbuer — surrounded by sea, wooden piers and steep mountains. Located in a former fish receiving station and stockfish warehouse, the restaurant still carries its original maritime character.

The menu takes inspiration from the sea outside the windows, with fresh fish, local ingredients and a small selection of meat dishes. Meanwhile, large windows open towards the harbour and the traditional rorbuer, where the changing coastal light shapes the atmosphere throughout the day.

Lobbybar & Bistro

A quiet place by the harbour

In the same building as Å Restaurant, you will find the reception area and Lobbybar & Bistro — a calm meeting place overlooking the harbour and the rorbuer. Here, you can sit down with a coffee, refreshments or a light meal in relaxed surroundings.

Lobbybar & Bistro serves simple meals and refreshments throughout the day and evening. Outside the busiest summer season, lunch is served here. During warmer days, however, both the restaurant and the waterfront terrace are used whenever the weather allows.

Small gatherings in peaceful surroundings

On the floor above Å Restaurant, we offer a simple meeting and event space with views towards the harbour and the mountains surrounding Å. The room is well suited for smaller meetings, informal gatherings and private dinners in peaceful surroundings.

Furthermore, we can arrange food service from the restaurant, as well as a projector and screen when needed.
