The majority of the fishermen’s cabins, also known as rorbuer, at Å Rorbuer, date back to the early 1900s when fishermen used them for shelter and accommodation. The newly renovated rorbu cabins offer all the comfort one needs while preserving their historical and rustic charm. These rorbuer feature a spacious and comfortable living room, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. There is also access to a balcony.
Each cabin is unique, and not all have sea or mountain views. If you have any particular requests,, feel free to ask us, and we will do our best to accommodate them. Each cabin has its own charm and history.
Additionally, we offer hotel rooms with shared bathrooms in the historic Salteriet, a former fish salting factory, and in Brygga, a former fish receiving factory.
Welcome to us in Å! We’re delighted to have you here and look forward to making your stay memorable.
